The Art and craft of a specific place connects itself to the very local form of Culture. And Culture comes from the Factors like surroundings, food, music, clothes, which initially came from nature and its other components. The center is an interpretation of what and how nature can influence and shape architecture to provide the facility for required program. The architecture tries to provide space for growth of nature, at the same time aiming at the basic requirements of the art and craft center.

The architectural intervention as a Craft Village will work for upliftment of craftsmen and offer creative program for everyone interested to learn Local-Crafts from the Craftsmen itself. Craft village will offer trans-disciplinary approach to improve the quality of life of crafts persons by providing formal contemporary design and product development through design-technology-skill development programs/ workshops on regular basis. As a part of craft study programs many students in other countries travel to different parts of the world to learn exotic crafts and culture, such students, artist, designer and professionals can visit the Craft Village to learn and contribute to these local exotic crafts. Craft Village will also facilitates a unique approach of crafts-person exchange where artisans and designers working with crafts and from diverse backgrounds come together for exchange of ideas, experience and crafts practice.
